Learn How to Travel for Months (Or Years!)

Traveling for longer than a few weeks can feel overwhelming. So I organized all the info you need into four main categories: Mindset, Travel, Business, and Community. I cover every topic from budgeting and packing for multiple countries to earning money and making friends. Simply click a category ↓ below ↓ to start planning your travels.

Wondering Where to Start?

I get it. When I first decided to travel long term, I had a ton of questions like:

  • How do I budget for multiple countries & currencies?
  • What should I pack for different cultures & climates?
  • Do I need to pay taxes or buy health insurance while I’m gone?
  • Will I meet people, be able to date, or feel lonely going solo?

That’s why I put together helpful info and detailed guides with answers to all your questions. You don’t have to wade through all the noise on the internet. Or get frustrated trying to figure out what you do – and don’t – need to know as a long-term traveler.

No matter where you start or how long you plan to travel, everything I’ve written will help you avoid expensive, difficult, and unexpected situations. For my top resources, check out this list of articles. →

Hi, I’m Melanie!

A few years ago, I decided I was done with my 9-5 routine and only getting 2 weeks of vacation every year. I wanted to see the world and travel for as long as I wanted. So I set out to make it happen. Now, I’m a full-time digital nomad and spend 80% of each year visiting other countries.

But changing my life so I could travel indefinitely wasn’t easy. I made mistakes, felt like giving up at times, and wasted money on things that weren’t helpful. Despite these difficulties, I love traveling nonstop – and I want to help you embrace this lifestyle, too.

My mission is simple: “To teach other women how to successfully prepare for and maintain long-term travel.” You’ll get all my best tips, ideas, and recommendations – so you have the freedom to travel for as long as you want.
